4/27/08 - The party at Ale House was off the charts,
as usual. In fact, there were a TON of new people in

There are still lots of reasons to celebrate in March: We'll
be at Rooters Friday 3/14 with the stage facing the bar!
If it gets too packed, you'll just have to stand closer to
everyone (or head up to the balcony and shoot some pool).
Then on "Good Friday" 3/21, we are back at the
mighty BuBs Irish Pub. See ya soon!
2/24/08 - Milwaukee Ale House has become a 2nd

great Valentine's Day, and join us at Milwaukee Ale House on
Saturday February 23rd!
2/03/08 - The famous Groundhog, Punxsutawney
Phil, saw his shadow Saturday, which forecasts six more
weeks of winter. Oh well, we're in Wisconsin ... we
can handle it! OLD MIL rolled into Eagle, WI on
Saturday night, and heated up Knucklehead Pub with some
tasty rock n' roll (In fact, the patrons and bartenders were
pretty hot too). Pics are posted!
Next up is the Annual Mardi Gras Party at French
Quarter. If you don't know ... you better ask
somebody. See ya Saturday February 9th in Oshkosh!
1/27/08 - Rooters was off the charts on Saturday
night! What a great show to kick off 2008.
Congrats to Bob and Lindsey on their engagement, and thanks
to all their friends for rockin' the VIP section! It
was nice catching up with our loyal fans. We also met the
newest members of 76 Juliet and First Kiss ... thanks for
coming up and saying hello!
Next up: Knucklehead Pub on Saturday 2/2! Three shows
in February, three shows in March, and three shows in April.

1/20/08 - Greetings fans. OLD MIL has been
hibernating in January, and we're finally hitting the stage at
Rooters this Saturday, 1/26! This time, OLD MIL kicks
off the show at 9:30 PM, and our good pal Ryan McIntyre will
be playing on our breaks, so get there early
and catch a full rock show from OLD MIL!
Our 2008 schedule is filling up, so take a look at our
upcoming shows, and we hope to see you soon!
1/1/08 - Happy New Year and Welcome to
2008! We have to thank the staff at Milwaukee Ale
House for putting on the Best New Years Eve Party and hiring
OLD MIL year after year! Next, we have to thank the
fans! That was the wildest NYE party yet, since there
were just as many people at 2 AM as there were at
Midnight. The energy level was so intense, that we
refused to take a break ... our final set was nearly 3 hours
long. Most importantly, pictures are posted!
Take a look at our upcoming shows page and make plans to
catch up with OLD MIL in 2008!
12/16/07 - Happy Holidays Everyone! After
a month hiatus, OLD MIL hit the stage at Rooters this past
weekend, and it's great to be back. Pictures are
posted in the Photo Gallery. It was so nice to see our
usual fans and meet a few new people ... this thing keeps
getting bigger and bigger. THANKS!
Next up is New Years Eve at Milwaukee Ale House. There are
no confusing packages or price levels ... it's simply $10 at
the door (best deal in town). Our recommendation: Get
a group together, make dinner reservations (414-226-BEER),
and get inside early! It's gonna be huge. Hope you all
have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
11/18/07 - Greetings Fans! Slim is back from
Mexico ( and he's still not very tan), and now Bearcave is
off to Arizona for a couple weeks!
Pictures from BuBs are finally posted! We'd like to
apologize for the technical difficulties at BuBs, which
caused us to start an hour later than expected. Thanks to
the fans for waiting it out and partying with us all night,
and thanks to Dave Dec and the Eliminator Crew for saving
the day! We decided to play our entire show until 2 AM
without a taking a break. We hope to see Scott Pecor
and the gang at BuBs in early 2008!
We are taking time off to celebrate Thanksgiving with family
and gear up for December and the New Year. Due to
circumstances beyond our control, the show at Dry Bean
Saloon in Madison has been cancelled. Our next show
will be Friday December 14 at Rooters, featuring special
guest Ryan McIntyre. And we'll close out the year once
again at Milwaukee Ale House on New Years Eve!
11/04/07 - We have one more show in November ...
Join us this Friday November 9th as OLD MIL returns to one
of the area's finest music venues, BuBs Irish Pub in
Germantown! No alternating sets or opening act ...
just OLD MIL!
Pictures from our Rooters show w/Ryan McIntyre have been
posted. The house was a-rockin! We'd like to thank our
loyal fans for all your support. OLD MIL has been awarded
Best Local Band from wisn.com, and we just received word
that we are nominated for Shepherd Express Cover Band of the
Year! These awards are solely driven by fan votes, so
we literally couldn't have done it without YOU!
10/28/07 - Congrats to all the winners in the
Halloween Costume Contest! We had a blast rockin' the
Milwaukee Ale House on Saturday night, and it was especially
cool to celebrate Halloween with a couple hundred friends at
our favorite Brew Pub! Pictures of all the crazy
costumes are posted in the Gallery.
OLD MIL returns to the Big, Big Stage at Rooters on Friday
night November 2nd with special guest Ryan McIntyre opening

songs with us during our set!

gonna be huge! Join us this Saturday September 8 at St.

Toys, and Chasin Mason playing at the same time. We're
pumped to "bring the rock" to the 60th Street
Stage from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM!
We had an amazing time at Waterfest in Oshkosh, WI. The
Leach Amphitheater is one of the nicest outdoor venues we
have ever played. The staff was so helpful, and it was
a pleasure to share the stage with Five Star Iris from
Atlanta. The perfect weather kept up as the sun went
down and Smash Mouth rocked thousands of fans into a frenzy.
We're hoping to come back next Summer!
DJ T has informed us that he was able to turn a profit
for his 2nd Annual Endless Summer Party! Proceeds will
benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Thanks to
everyone who showed up to support a good cause. It
turned into one big jam session with Ryan McIntyre, Craig
Walkner, and DJ T joining in with the band. Check out
the pictures!

that these concerts are SUMMERTIME EVENTS with special guests
and entertainers throughout the day. Live Music + Cold
Beer + OLD MIL = Great Times.
This Thursday evening, 8/30, OLD MIL heads up to Oshkosh

08/13/07 - Wisconsin State Fair and Two Rivers
Fireman's Picnic are "in the books!" We had
nice weather and hospitality during our first show in Two
Rivers on Saturday night. And State Fair was a virtual
"Who's Who" of OLD MIL fans over the past five
years. It was great seeing friends and family in
attendance and meeting all the new people this past weekend.
Check back Monday night for pictures ...
This Saturday, OLD MIL heads south on I-94 to St. Rita's
Parish Festival in Racine. Free parking, free
admission! OLD MIL alternates sets with Cold Sweat
between 6:30 PM and 11:30 PM, so the rock never stops ...
don't miss it!
08/08/07 - On Saturday, August 11, OLD MIL
heads north on I-43 to meet the good people of Two Rivers,
WI and rock the Annual Fireman's Picnic! A few
facts about Two Rivers/Shoto: the area is located just north
of Manitowoc, there are indeed two gigantic rivers nearby
(with only one name, the Twin River), and it is the REAL
birthplace of the Ice Cream Sundae.
This is the closest we'll get to Green Bay all Summer,
so we're hoping to catch up with some of our Green Bay and
Fox Valley fans!
Then on Sunday, we return to Saz's High Life Pavilion at
Wisconsin State Fair! This is the LAST DAY of State Fair and
we're playing the Saz's High Life Pavilion, an outdoor beer
garden/restaurant next to the Giant Yellow Slide. It doesn't
get any easier to remember. Tell the kids, friends, parents,
neighbors, siblings, and grandparents to come see OLD MIL
from 5 PM to 9 PM on Sunday at State Fair!
07/31/07 - The first batch of Photos from our
Marathon O' Rock Weekend have been posted! So far, we

the Summer is going by FAST! Check out our August Schedule
and make plans to enjoy the great outdoors with OLD
MIL.
07/09/07 - We had an incredible Old Mil weekend.
Summerfest was better than we could have imagined - perfect
weather, a nice Friday evening timeslot, a great crew at the
Miller Oasis, and an impressive showing from family members,
friends, and loyal fans (from Wisconsin, both coasts, and
everywhere in between)! Pictures are already posted
... Special thanks to Travis,
Brooke, Terra, and Lynn for snapping a variety of band and crowd
shots.
Ashippun Firefighters Picnic was another amazing show.
90+ degree temperatures couldn't keep people from rockin'
with Old Mil all night long. The weather was hot and
the people were hotter ... check out the pics courtesy of
Paul and Bradley!
We're taking a couple weekends off, but we'll be back with a
Fri-Sat-Sun marathon show weekend at the end of July,
including Bradford Beach Jam on the lakefront, Paulies Pub
Festival in West Allis, and Falls Fest in Menomonee Falls!
07/02/07 - Happy Independence Day everyone!

Friday, July 6th and party with OLD MIL from 6:30 PM to 8:00
PM!

our favorite shows of the Summer, Ashippun Days! Check
out the pics
from last year. OLD MIL takes the stage after

Organization has hired OLD MIL to perform for this year's
Draft Party at the Bradley Center! RSVP
on the Bucks website for this free, public event.
OLD MIL plays a half-hour set at 5:30 PM, so come on out for
some "after work" rock and stick around to see who
the Bucks pick!
Summerfest News:

MIL on Friday night, July 6th, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM!
06/10/07 - Taste of Summer, Stone Bank Fireman's

past weekend. Thanks to everyone for their involvement
in this very memorable weekend!
06/04/07 - Pictures from the Beer Hall and Club

everyone this weekend!
05/29/07 - We hope you all had a great Memorial Day
Weekend! OLD MIL returned to Badger Bowl on Saturday night
and rocked the house ... pics are posted!
We have two big shows for the first weekend in June.
On Friday night June 1st, Old Mil is playing the Old German
Beer Hall on Old World Third Street (that's a lot of cool
"old" stuff in one sentence)! Once
RiverSplash shuts down, step inside Milwaukee's authentic
Hofbrau Haus for a special RiverSplash Post Party! Old
Mil hits the stage around 11 PM to take you all the way to
bar time.
Then on Sunday June 3rd, Old Mil returns to the Club Tap
Corn Roast! This outdoor, daytime event was one of our
favorite shows last summer and we're excited to be back.
Come on out to Wauwatosa's Club Tap tavern for an afternoon
of beer, brats, corn, and live music!
05/20/07 - We got a taste of the outdoor season with
Hart Fest this past weekend! Thanks to everyone for joining
us on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It's always
great working with the LoveMonkeys, Steelheads, Eliminator
Audio, Rick Bauer, Mike S from Leff's, and all the Tosa
public servants and volunteers!
For those of you who like your music loud and late, we have
a couple more indoor shows remaining (21 and over).
Next up is Badger Bowl on Saturday May 26. There is a
huge Brat Festival taking place at the nearby Alliant Energy
Center grounds, so when the fest shuts down, swing on over
to Badger Bowl! They have some of the best drink
prices in the state.
05/13/07 - Pictures from the weekend are
posted! Our first outdoor show of 2007 was just as
wild and crazy as we expected. I'm sure the pitchers
... I mean pictures will say it all. And we had a
great time rocking out at Coach House Grill on Saturday
night! Now we just need a nap.
Next up is Hart Fest, an all-ages outdoor show in the
village of Wauwatosa (under the Harmonee St Bridge)!
And we finish out the month at Badger Bowl, a 21 and over
show taking place on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.
Join the rock n' roll frenzy!
05/08/07 - OLD MIL has two big shows this weekend starting with
the famous Oshkosh Beer Gardens on Friday night. If you are anywhere
near the Fox Valley, you'll want to come experience
one of the wildest parties of the year. OLD MIL
headlines Molly's Beer Tent from 7 PM to 11 PM
(yep, we're playing outside for the first time in '07). Get
there early to check out local rock heroes "The
Bakers" beforehand.
And we return to the Milwaukee area on Saturday night to
rock Coach House Grill, a great local venue remodeled
for live music. This place has it all - huge bar, arcade
games, corner stage, softball diamonds, restroom facilities
... you get the idea. Join us for one of our last
indoor shows of Spring ... we play 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM!
04/29/07 - Another Killer Show at French Quarter! The party
never seems to end in Oshkosh, so we're heading back up in a
couple weeks. Mark your calendar for the first outdoor
show of the year, the annual Beer Gardens on Friday May
11th!
And if you're looking for something to do this weekend, our
bassist The Bearcave is playing on Saturday May 5th with
classic rock band "Otto Day and the Nites" over
at the Railroad Station in Saukville. Start time is 8:00 PM.
04/22/07 - Thanks to the mighty fans in attendance,
OLD MIL and Fat Bottom Special raised the roof at BuBs on
Saturday night!
There were so many celebrations, it will be difficult to
list them all here, but let's give it a shot ... a wedding
reception joined FBS on stage, Katie Mac provided birthday
spankings for her friend Jamie, longtime fan Jessica
celebrated her 30th b-day, we dedicated "Beverly
Hills" to a fan moving to California, and an engagement
proposal was accepted during one of our tunes! Did we
miss anything?
On top of that, OLD MIL and Fat Bottom Special provided a
significant amount of rock n' roll mayhem. Check out the
photos!
We'll be rockin' Oshkosh for our next two shows, and our
Summer Schedule already includes the best area festivals ...
Summerfest, State Fair, Waterfest, and more!
04/07/07 - Photos from Leff's Lucky Town (Holy Thursday Batman!)
have been posted ... what a great night! So many
familiar faces in attendance, and we hope to have brought in
some new fans. Leff's is always packed, but throw OLD
MIL and some Pabst silos into the mix, and you have a
boilermaker.
Keep an eye out for the new poll each week from local
sportscaster Doug Russell (Sports Radio AM 1250). We
hope to see you at BuB's Irish Pub on April 21 when Fat
Bottom Special and OLD MIL promise to tear the roof off o'
BuB's!
04/04/07 - Here it is ... the brand new website layout for
oldmil.net! Thanks to Steve James from Stream Creative for designing an amazing new website for us, and thanks to our
website sponsor, Current Electric.
Take a look around ... we still have all the convenient pages you've grown accustomed to, including a full list of upcoming shows with maps and detailed
descriptions, recent show pictures,
and all the latest news from OLD MIL. We also added new features including
easy-to-use mailing list signup, new member bios, online Merchandise store, and a brand new media page featuring professional
videos from Elite Productions. Plus, we will have a weekly poll
created by local sportscaster, Doug Russell, from AM 1250!
As if that isn't enough excitement, OLD MIL is playing a special early show (8 to 11) at Leff's Lucky
Town on Thursday evening April 5th ... HOLY THURSDAY BATMAN! Be prepared to call into work the next day from a "rock
hangover"
03/26/07 - The new website
design will be launched next week! In the meantime, check out pictures from Dry
Bean Saloon in Madison, and thanks to everyone who came from near and far for
our biggest Dry Bean show yet!
Holy Thursday Batman! OLD MIL will return
to the stage on Thursday, April 5th for a special early show (8 to 11) at Leff's
Lucky Town. If you can't wait that long to rock, you can check out E-Rox on
Saturday March 31st performing in a Cinderella Tribute Band for Spoof
Fest 2007! Check Vnuk's
website for the latest information.
03/11/07 - The drummer didn't
light himself on fire, but nobody seemed to mind. Everyone was too busy
enjoying a cocktail, celebrating a birthday, relishing the first Spring-like
weekend, or whatever else brought you downtown on a beautiful March evening.
Thanks for coming out and supporting OLD MIL at one of our biggest Ale House
shows yet ... It appears that Milwaukee Ale House will be hiring us once again
for New Years Eve! Brooke did a great job navigating through the crowd and
taking pictures, which are currently posted on the Pictures page.
We'll
be back in Madison on Saturday March 24 at the Dry Bean Saloon, and this time we
are bringing our good friend Ryan McIntyre!
03/05/07 - It's
always fun to head back to Madison, and Badger Bowl is a great little
place. Actually, it's a great BIG place. Thanks to our
loyal and growing Madison following (and those Milwaukee people who
made the trek) for showing up and supporting OLD MIL! We'll be
back in Madison on Saturday March 24 at the Dry Bean with our good
friend, Ryan McIntyre!
The fans have been asking about Milwaukee shows, and next up is
Milwaukee Ale House on Saturday March 10! Enough said.
We'll see you there!
02/18/07 - I
honestly think we would play Oshkosh every weekend if we could. That place
rocks! Our original fans continue to show up and support OLD MIL, and
we're meeting tons of new people along the way. Thanks for saying hello
and introducing yourselves! We are looking forward to Graduation Weekend
(Fri 5/11 - Beer Garden at Molly's Bar). Brooke snapped the photos, and
they are posted in the usual place.
Which leads us to March ... Next up is a Brand New venue for OLD MIL, Badger
Bowl in Madison, a sports & recreation center (and bar, of course) that
hosts live music every weekend!
02/11/07 - Rooters
... Wow! That was a lot of rock n' roll craziness packed into one fine
evening. We are sharing the bill with Ryan McIntyre again in March, so
check the shows page and make plans to catch OLD MIL again soon!
As you may have noticed, OLD MIL is branching out in 2007 to Fox Valley and
Madison venues. Thus, our next three shows take place in Oshkosh, Madison,
and Milwaukee respectively. This Saturday, February 17, come out to French
Quarter in Oshkosh for their annual Mardi Gras party with OLD MIL!
02/05/07 - The stars
were aligned for OLD MIL on Saturday night. On the coldest night of the
year, we had a HUGE crowd at Knucklehead Pub, including birthday celebrations,
bachelorette parties, an all-night visit from Fat Bottom Special, sportscaster
Doug Russell's entourage, and many of the diehard OLD MIL faithful! Thanks
for making the trek everyone, and special thanks to the new fans who introduced
themselves throughout the evening! Take a look at the pictures to see the
excellent light display provided by Eliminator Audio (photos courtesy of
Michelle). Looking forward to our next visit to Knucklehead Pub!
The buzz keeps growing for our upcoming Rooters show on Friday February 9th.
OLD MIL will be alternating sets with Ryan McIntyre, and it sounds like this
might be one for the record books. At least bring a digital camera so you
can remember being there with your friends ... that's what we do! Hope to
see you all in February.
01/28/07 - Things are
starting to look great for OLD MIL. The Dry Bean did not disappoint on
Friday night. In addition to our loyal Madison crew, we had quite a few
Milwaukee area fans take the road trip with us. And the house-was-a-rockin'
... of course! Brooke snapped the photos, and pics are posted in the usual
place.
We have an exciting February coming up with two Waukesha area shows and another
trek to the birthplace of OLD MIL, UW-Oshkosh! Come out to Knucklehead Pub
this Saturday February 3.
01/08/07 - First of
all, we need to thank our loyal fans for constantly promoting the band.
Word of mouth is traveling fast, and the OLD MIL show on Saturday was
proof! According to the owner of BuB's Irish Pub, Saturday night was one
of their biggest night's ever ... not bad for the weekend after NYE! We
are excited to keep the momentum going, and we look forward to bringing our fans
something new at every single show in 2007.
Next up is the Dry Bean in Madison and Knucklehead Pub in Eagle!
