Old Mil
is ready to take this house party on the road! Playing
in front of an appreciative audience is the goal of every
local band,
and Old Mil has taken their timeless party tunes out of the frat house basement into
clubs all over Southeastern Wisconsin.
With regular appearances at powerhouse venues like
Summerfest, State Fair, Hart Fest, Rooters, and Milwaukee Ale House,
the boys in Old Mil are happiest working
on new tunes and finishing off a keg of beer at band
practice. The camaraderie is evident when the band
jumps on stage and rocks the house at each and every show!
In 2009, Old Mil added "Fu" (pronounced Foo) on keyboards and
percussion, strengthening the band lineup,
and improving their ever-evolving set list.
So, next time you're thirsty for some good times and great music, come see Old Mil ... it doesn't get any better than this!
"Slim" Jim - Lead Guitar and backup vocals
Jamming
"Patience" at the 8th Grade talent
show, blasting original songs with Bonzai XPress & The
DL,
and rockin' with Old Mil nearly every weekend since College,
I have been playing music my entire life. I no longer
have stage fright, so you'll see me doing windmills, jumping up and down, and taking lead vocal duties on
a few songs. It's been a great ride, and I thank
everyone who has helped our musical journey along the way!

Eric "BearCave" - Bass Guitar and backup vocals
Originally
a keyboard player by trade, I’ve been performing in bars,
nightclubs, and festivals for over 20 years. I started
playing the bass
guitar in 1997 when the bass player of my band
suddenly quit. Since joining Old Mil in spring of 2003,
I’ve met some amazing people, made great friends, and had
memorable experiences. Playing music is one thing ....
Playing music for people who enjoy and appreciate it takes
the experience to a whole new level. Thank you to everyone who
continues to support us and live music!

Rick
"Fu" - Keyboards and
percussion
An American comedian and film star famed as a master of wit, he made 13 feature films with his siblings the Marx Brothers and also had a successful solo career, most notably as the host of the radio and television game shows
"You Bet Your Life" and "Tell it to Groucho." His distinctive appearance, carried over from his days in vaudeville, included quirks such as glasses, cigars, and a thick greasepaint mustache and eyebrows.
Wait ... no, this is Groucho Marx. Darn impressive though, don't you think? My name is Fu (pronounced
"foo" and not a swear reference).
I make music with my hands. YAY!

Steve
"Chimmy" - Drums
I
consider myself more of a music fan than a participant, but
along the way, I managed to become the drummer for Old
Mil. There is nothing like learning as you go. That’s
alright. I have always wanted to play the drums anyway!
